#MuchInHutch: Spend the Day Exploring Hutchinson

They say there’s “Much in Hutch” and we agree! When you come out to the 2024 MN Pottery Festival we hope that you’ll check out some local establishments.

While we have 3 food trucks, brewery, winery, and root beer floats at the festival, you might be looking for other options before or after …

Spend the weekend exploring Hutch

We love the pizza, salad, cheeseplates, and wine at Jomas Hill Vineyard (just 15 minutes north of Hutchinson, near Darwin) .

Our go-to local joint, where everyone knows our name (Norm!) is Sonora’s. We strongly recommend the Golden Margarita and the Carne Verde with Pork.

For brunch-lovers, McCormick’s Family Restaurant is a local institution, and WCCO named them best eggs benedict in the state (how will you know if they’re right or not if you don’t check for yourself?). RiverHouse on Main Street has a wide menu. Another options is to head to the Hutchinson Famrers Market at the historic train depot and grab a breakfast burrito and hot cinnamon role from Jenn’s (and there’s tons of other goodies).

If you’re heading East, check out the Crow River Winery’s tasting room. They also have pizzas and other nibbles.

We have some other local faves listed below. If you don’t see what you’re looking for stop into the Info Pavilion and any of the board members will give you suggestions.
